Since our inception in 2012, we have been the proud creators of Jamaicanpatwah.com, The Jamaican Store, and ReggaeTranslate.com bringing the vibrant spirit of Jamaica to the world through our innovative language resources and authentic cultural products.

Our mission is to share the richness of Jamaican Patois and the Jamaica’s unique culture with everyone. We believe language transcends boundaries and connects people, and through our work, we aim to educate, inspire, and foster a deeper understanding of Jamaica’s linguistic diversity.
Our Journey
JP Linguistics began with the launch of Jamaicanpatwah.com in 2012, a site dedicated to demystifying the beauty of Patois through engaging content and resources. Our passion for Jamaican Patois quickly grew into a comprehensive platform for enthusiasts to explore and embrace the Jamaican language.
Following the success of Jamaicanpatwah.com, we opened The Jamaican Store, an online marketplace offering authentic Jamaican products that celebrate our culture. From apparel to art, we curate items that resonate with the heartbeats of Jamaica.
Our commitment to spreading knowledge and love for our language led us to publish the ‘How to Speak Jamaican Patois‘ series. This series includes a Beginner’s Guide, a Phrasebook, a comprehensive Jamaican Dictionary, and a practical Workbook—each designed to make learning Jamaican Patois accessible and enjoyable.
